Buskers Festival (2010/06/26)
What’s that you hear?
On June 27th the Peterborough Downtown BIA in partnership with Peterborough Square is inviting all musicians and performers to set-up on the streets of downtown and entertain from 11am – 2pm
The Peterborough Downtown BIA Buskers Festival is open to all and any performers. Each performer must register the morning of the event at our registration table before 11am’ which will be set up at Peterborough Square. Once registered performers can set up between 11am - 2pm on the sidewalks of downtown, and must not inhibit pedestrian traffic. We do not provide power for entertainers as the membership would prefer acoustic entertainment outside of their businesses.
There should be an interesting range of talent and genre!!
The Top Ten will then play in the Courtyard at Peterborough Square from 2pm-4pm, Prizes will be awarded by non-partisan judges for the top 3 performances.

Taste of Downtown (2010/07/24)
An event to savour all the "Tastes" of Downtown!
This event will be held on Hunter Street on July 24th from 12 noon to 5:00pm’ with live music, tasty food samplers and refreshment supplied by downtown dining establishments!
STREETFEST 2010 (2010/08/21)
Streetfest is a free event and The Peterborough Downtown BIA will be closing George Street from Brock to King Streets on August 21(side streets will be left open for traffic).
The Fun goes from 10am - 4pm!!! And the street will be filled with classic cars, demonstrations, a children’s fun area, with bouncy castles,pony rides chalk art and a whole lot more! FUN for the whole family!!
Jazz Restaurant Tour (2010/09/10)
The Jazz Restaurant Tour is one of our most popular events as it brings together great jazz and blues music at a diverse collection of venues. A variety of restaurants dish up delectable food samplers for you to savour while enjoying the featured Jazz bands. "Feel the Heat" on a September evening, in Downtown Peterborough!
Jazz Festival (2010/09/11)
Every year in September, the Peterborough Downtown BIA sponsors an outdoor Jazz Festival. This year the event will be held on September 11th, 2010. The open -air concerts are free to the public. You can enjoy non-stop Jazz from early afternoon into the evening. Refreshments are also available.
