STREETFEST 2010 (2010/08/21)

Streetfest is a free event and The Peterborough Downtown BIA will be closing George Street from Brock to King Streets on Saturday, August 21(side streets will be left open for traffic).

The event runs from 10am - 3pm and will feature classic antique cars, demonstrations, a children’s fun area, and a whole lot more!

Jazz Restaurant Tour (2010/09/10)

The Jazz Restaurant Tour is one of our most popular events as it brings together great jazz and blues music at a diverse collection of venues. A variety of restaurants dish up delectable food samplers for you to savour while enjoying the featured Jazz bands. "Feel the Heat" on Friday, September 10th. More details to come.

Jazz Festival (2010/09/11)

Every year in September, the Peterborough Downtown BIA sponsors an outdoor Jazz Festival. This year the event will be held on September 11th, 2010 at Millenium Park. You can enjoy non-stop Jazz, Blues and Pop music from early afternoon into the evening. Admission is free. A beer garden will be on-site as well as other refreshments. More details to come.

DBIA Breakfast Network Returns (2010/09/15)

After taking a summer hiatus, the DBIA Breakfast Network returns on Wednesday, September 15th, Fireside Lounge, Empress Gardens, 131 Charlotte Street (enter from Water Street). Breakfast begins at 7:30am, presentation at 8am., out by 8:45-9am. $3 nominal charge for breakfast, Door Prizes, open to the public. September’s Guest speaker is Linda Mitchelson, Social Services Division, City of Peterborough. Topic: Peterborough Homelessness Support Services: An Overview. Please RSVP at 748-4774. The DBIA Breakfast Network takes place on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, at Empress Gardens.
