The Peterborough Downtown Business Improvement Association represents more than 560 businesses in the downtown core. Our mandate is to build and maintain a strong business area for the community, and promote the downtown area so that our businesses thrive and prosper. We do this through co-op advertising programs, by beautifying the town with upgraded light fixtures and streetscaping, by liaising with the Mayor, Peterborough City Council, and tourist organizations, and by sponsoring special events that bring people downtown and keep things hopping! We also act as an information resource for all our members.
